Immigration DNA Testing has become an important part of the fabric in  the immigration testing process. Years ago, families never had to worry about proving a relationship with an alleged family member by way of a DNA Test. When starting this process, the first question you should ask is whether the facility you are considering is AABB accredited.  Yes. Is the answer for AIDC’s services. The lab that handles our genetic testing is an AABB accredited lab. The combined years of experience in the field of genetics is well of fifty years accumulatively. Our clients can rest assure that their DNA testing needs will be handled with privacy, professionalism and respect.

It is also important to note that in the state of New York the lab you choose must  New York State Heath Department Accredited. If the lab fails to have this accreditation your results will have great chance of being denied when presented in front of an immigration judge. If you decided on AIDC to handle your immigration testing process. This is what you can expect.

First step is, appointment coordination for all parties located here in the states. If this describes your situation please note that the turn around time is 48-72 hours from the date of our lab’s receipt.

If one or all parties are abroad in your respective country, the turn around time on average for your process to be completed is six to eight weeks. It is important to note that this is an average turnaround time. All DNA sample collection appointments abroad are coordinated by the embassy. No lab is responsible for appointments in any country.

Once all of the samples are received by our lab. The samples will be tested, processed and shipped to the respective immigration institution who requested proof of relationship.

How Long Do Have To Use A Legal DNA Test For Immigration?

Recently, the rules have changed. If you have recently had a legal DNA testing performed and for whatever reason you are requested by USCIS to do DNA testing. It is important note that you have six months from the date of the DNA test to be able to use the results that you have on file without re-testing.
